Lawless Alan: Terrific in Texas

Lawless Alan: Terrific in Texas

Fort Worth, TX, April 12th, 2024 – The seventh race of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) in 2024 was an exciting one to say the least, with caution flags flying and the lead changing hands regularly. Texas Motor Speedway did not disappoint. For Lawless Alan, it definitely did not disappoint, as Lawless notched his best placement so far this season, finishing in 11th and netting himself a healthy 26 points toward the season standings.

Qualifying in 21st position, Lawless utilized his skills behind the wheel to (literally) steer clear of multiple incidents on the track and gain 10 positions by the time all was said and done. Given the race had a total of 7 cautions and 15+ trucks involved throughout these incidents, this was not an easy task to accomplish.

Another takeaway from Texas was the resilience and adaptability that Lawless and the team at Reaume Brothers Racing (RBR) displayed throughout. Each of the 7 caution periods represented both an opportunity and a challenge, requiring the team to adjust its initial race strategy. These decisions would turn out to be crucial, as Lawless did not pit until very late compared to other drivers, allowing him to maintain a top position throughout the critical late stages of the race.

Lawless has continuously improved throughout this season, showing no signs of slowing down. The expectation grows with each passing race. Under the continued guidance of championship-winning coach Mike Skinner, the talented and hardworking RBR team, and with the 2024 NCTS season entering its critical middle phase, this is the perfect time for Lawless to hit his stride.

The NCTS returns to action on Saturday, May 4th at Kansas Speedway for the Heart of America 200. Be sure to tune into FS1 to watch Lawless in action.
